Indian actor Anupam Shyam is celebrating his birthday today. He mainly played the role of villain in Bollywood films. Anupam Shyam, who graduated from Awadh University after school education from Pratapgarh and then studied theatre from the Bhartendu Drama Academy in Lucknow, worked at Sriram Centre Rangmandal in Delhi, after which he worked for a long time in the Rangmandal of National School of Drama (NSD).

Anupam Shyam also worked in several major national and international films, beginning with the international film 'The Little Buddha'. He signed the famous director Shekhar Kapoor's film 'Bandit Queen' in which he played the role of Baba Ghanshyam. He also worked in a French film 'Jaya Ganga'. In the Oscar-winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire', he played an important character.

Anupam also worked another foreign film 'The Warrior' and Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan played the lead role in this film. He worked in the British film 'Thread' directed by director Mahesh Mathye, for which he received a lot of appreciation from the audience. Anupam Shyam also made famous films like 'Shakti', 'Halla Bol'. His co-actors in Halla Bol include famous actor Pankaj Kapoor. With actor Naseeruddin Shah, he worked in a film ' Parjania ' whose story is based on riots. He recently accompanied actor Yashpal in a film 'Das Capital' which is now being shown at film festivals. Anupam Shyam has achieved a lot in his career.
