Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap says his life has been ruined since the release of the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' seven years ago. Kashyap tweeted on Saturday, "My life was ruined exactly seven years ago and since then everyone wants me to do the same thing again and again. While I'm trying unsuccessfully to get away from that desire so far. Well, I hope that by the end of 2019, the seven-and-a-half-year-end will be over."
The real-life story film 'Gangs of Wasseypur' was a favourite with the audience and in the opening weekend, the film had a turnover of over Rs 10 crore and is based on Wasseypur in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. In which Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Piyush Mishra and Richa Chaddha were also in the lead roles.
Anurag recently tweeted that he was also about to build a new company and wrote, "New company, new film, new beginning." remains. Earlier Anurag, Vikramaditya Motwani, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl were among the partners of Phantoms Films. However, the company was shut down last year for some reason.
