Lucknow: With the end of the first phase of polling in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the attack on bjp's opponents has intensified. Union Minister Anurag Thakur, who arrived in Bareilly ahead of the second phase of elections, has hit out at the SP-BSP. Anurag Thakur said that the Samajwadi Party (SP) wants to create tension again. He remembered Nahid Hasan in the first phase of the elections.
Anurag Thakur said that in the second phase, they are thinking about Azam Khan. By the fifth and sixth phases, the SP will also remember Atiq Ahmed and Mukhtar Ansari. The Union Minister further said that going with the SP means supporting the criminals. Anurag Thakur also reacted to Akhilesh's statement on Azam Khan. "They never want a peaceful election. The SP has persecuted the people. Azam Khan is notorious for threatening voters and polling officials.
The Union minister said Akhilesh was disliking the peaceful atmosphere in which people voted for the BJP in the first phase. He further said that azam khan's background is known to everyone. How he used to comment on people and women of the SC community and Akhilesh Yadav used to clap and laugh as the chief minister.
