LUCKNOW: Congress has suffered a third major setback in Uttar Pradesh. In Uttar Pradesh, another poster girl of Congress has resigned from the party and joined the BJP ahead of the second phase of assembly elections. Veteran Congress leader Pallavi Singh has joined the BJP. Pallavi made a big allegation after she left Congress. Pallavi Singh was one of the prominent faces of Congress' main campaign 'The Girl I Can Fight Campaign'.

Earlier, two more poster girls of Congress have resigned from the party and joined the BJP. Three days ago, party leader Vandana, who appeared in the posters of Shakti Vidhan, had distanced herself from the Congress and took on the BJP. She is upset over giving more preference to new faces in the party over old workers. Vandana had said that Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi does not give time to party workers to meet them.

Vandana had said that she has not been able to meet Priyanka Gandhi for two years. 'Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon' Priyanka Maurya, the poster girl of the campaign, has already left the Congress and joined the BJP. She was also angry at not getting a ticket. Priyanka Maurya had also accused Congress of demanding money in exchange for a ticket.
