Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed officials to complete Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantees Scheme (MGNREGS) works on a priority basis, with the construction of Village Secretariats, RBKs, YSR Health Clinics, and YSR Digital Libraries being given top priority, according to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).

The Chief Minister urged officials to prepare for the building of BMCUs in districts and regions where the Amul Project is being implemented at a review meeting on the progress of various programmes in Panchayat Raj and the Rural Development Department.

Given the MGNREGS money being delivered to the state, he stated that the works should be completed as soon as possible.

The officials informed the Chief Minister about the progress of the Jagananna Swacha Sankalpam and CLAP programmes, explaining that garbage collection in rural areas began in November with 22 percent of households and has now reached 61.5 percent, with targets to be met by October, according to the release. The Chief Minister ordered officials to improve cleanliness in rural areas and to take extra precautions when sewage water is kept.
