Katni: Today is International Women's Day and on this occasion, a girl from Katni district is going to be  collector of the district for a day. Actually, this decision has been taken by the Katni district administration. According to the information received, Archana Kewat is the name of the girl who has become a token collector for a day. She was also honored a few days ago by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Actually, many programs are going to be organized by the Women and Child Development Department all over Madhya Pradesh. The purpose of all these is to make women aware towards the empowerment of women. According to them, Archana Kewat is being made a one-day collector in a symbolic way. In this regard, the current collector of Katni, Priyank Mishra said that 'Archana will participate in various meetings as a day collector and review the work going on in the departments'.

With this, she further said, 'She will also attend the district level program Shiro organized by the Women and Child Development Department as the chief guest.' At the same time, it has been told by the Katni District Administration that 'Archana as Collector will attend a meeting organized in the District Panchayat meeting hall at 10.30 am on Women's Day. After that, at 12 noon, the gram panchayat will attend the special gram sabha organized at Chaka. Then at 1 pm Katni bus will attend the government program organized in the auditorium at the stand. After that, at 3 pm, she will inspect the One Stop Center and at 4 pm, she will inspect the Girls' Home.

Who is Archana Kewat- Yes, Archana is a girl living in village Mahgaon of Kaimor police station area of Katni district. Archana had done the bold work of taking the criminal elements to the bars in the past. It happened that Archana was returning from Khalwara bus stand with her father in the month of January, when two drunken youths were molesting minor girls passing by on the way. After seeing this, Archana enlisted the help of the police and took those alcoholics behind bars. Along with this, Archana caught some motorcycle riding manchal with the help of the villagers and caught the police. At the same time, when Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan visited Katni district, he also honored Archana for these works.
