After four rounds of the 19th Delhi International Chess Tournament, the current National Chess Champion Arjun Arigasi continues to maintain the joint lead with his fourth consecutive victory. Apart from this, he has come to the best live rating of his sports life at 2672. Arjun registered four victories by defeating Manigandan SS of India in Round 1, P Karthikeyan of India in Round 2 and Ortik Nigmatov of Uzbekistan in Round 3 and Kushagra Jain of India in Round 4.

The key results of round 4 were as follows - India's Lalit Babu on Board 2, Padmesh MK, Visakh NR, Aditya Pal, Indian P, Dnyaneshwar B, Azar Mirzoev from Azerbaijan, India's Ajay Santosh, Iran's Poormosavi. Syed Qian defeated India's Oishik Kundu while 191st ranked Yashita Raut surprised 12th seed Mitrabha Guha by holding on to a draw.

Along with Arjun, Azar Mirzoev of Azerbaijan, Purmosavi Syed Qian of Iran, P Inion of India, Sahil De, Visakh NR, Lalit Babu are also still on the joint lead by scoring points.
