Lucknow: The police have got great success in the murder case of Ranjit Bachchan, President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Police have arrested a shooter in this case. Police team will take the shooter to Lucknow today. According to the information, the shooter fled Mumbai by train after the murder incident. Ranjit Bachchan (42), president of the Vishwa Hindu Mahasabha, was shot dead by two miscreants near Globe Park in the capital's Parivartan Chowk on Sunday morning. The murder was done while Ranjeet, along with his friend and relative Aditya Srivastava, was walking the morning in front of the main gate of Globe Park. Aditya also got shot. After the incident, the miscreants escaped on foot. The police have started a probe on the Tahrir of Aditya injured in Ranjit's murder. He lived in flat number 604 in B block of OCR building with wife Kalindi in Lucknow. In 2013, the SP government allotted this accommodation to Kalindi's organization.
