Guwahati: Six of the 13 people on board the Crashed Air Force plane AN-32 in the hills of Arunachal Pradesh have been recovered after taking off from Jorhat in Assam a few days ago, while the mortal remains of the remaining seven persons have also been recovered. Efforts are being made to bring the bodies and remains to a halt. It will be possible only if the weather is good. On the afternoon of 3rd June, an AN-32 aircraft flew from Jorhat in Assam to Menchuka Advance Landing Ground.

According to information, within half an hour of taking off, the contact of the aircraft had broken down from the control room and nothing was known since then. A total of 13 people, including the pilot, were on board the aircraft. The wreckage of an AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force is about 15-20 kms north of the anan-32 flight route in Arunachal Pradesh. According to an Air Force statement, the wreckage of the plane was found near Lipo, a small village at 12,000 feet.

At the same time, the Air Force had released a picture of the plane after it was found in the dense forests of Lipo village. The wreckage of the plane from the difficult mountainous terrain, which was photographed, was seen to be charred by the surrounding trees. It was feared that the trees might have caught fire after the plane crashed.
