Guwahati: Six of the 13 people on board the Crashed Air Force plane AN-32 in the hills of Arunachal Pradesh have been recovered after taking off from Jorhat in Assam a few days ago, while the mortal remains of the remaining seven persons have also been recovered. Efforts are being made to bring the bodies and remains to a halt. It will be possible only if the weather is good. On the afternoon of 3rd June, an AN-32 aircraft flew from Jorhat in Assam to Menchuka Advance Landing Ground.

A total of 13 people, including the pilot, were on board the aircraft. The wreckage of an AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force is about 15-20 kms north of the anan-32 flight route in Arunachal Pradesh. According to an Air Force statement, the wreckage of the plane was found near Lipo, a small village at 12,000 feet.
