Itanagar:No new case of corona virus infection has been reported in Arunachal region in the last 24 hours.10 more people have recovered during this time. State monitoring officer L. Zampa reported on Monday that a total of 55,089 cases of infection have been registered in the state so far, out of which 132 people are undergoing treatment for corona virus infection.

No case of death from infection was reported on Sunday. The total number of corona deaths in the state is 280. L. Zampa said that the recovery rate of patients in Arunachal Pradesh is 99.25 per cent. A total of 54,677 people have recovered so far and 11,80,648 samples have been tested for Covid-19 in the North Eastern State. A total of 12,85,576 people have been given corona vaccine doses in the state so far, state immunization officer Dimong Padung said.

The number of infected people in the country has increased to 341,89,774 after 14,306 new cases of corona infection were registered in a day in the country and the number of active cases has come down to 1,67,695. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Monday, the death toll from the infection rose to 4,54,712 after 443 more deaths. Kerala has increased the death toll by 363 after rematching the death figures from infection, out of which 71 people have lost their lives in the state in the last 24 hours.
