New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold a special meeting with the Council of Ministers in the Secretariat on Thursday, February 24  to discuss the Budget for the coming fiscal year, as per statement from the  Chief Minister's Office,

"Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will host a special meeting with the Council of Ministers on Thursday, February 24, at Delhi Secretariat to discuss Delhi's Budget for the forthcoming financial year 2022-23," the CMO announced on Twitter.

By the end of January, the Delhi administration had started working on the Delhi Budget 2022-23, which, according to Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Manish Sisodia, will be distinctive and will help the national capital's economic growth.

Meanwhile in another development, the charge of the Public Works Department, which was previously held by Satyendar Jain, was assigned to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday.

Since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to power on its own in 2015, Jain has been in charge of Public Works Department  for the past seven years.
