Jalandhar: On Wednesday, December 15, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will take part in the Tiranga Yatra organised by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Jalandhar. In Hindi, Kejriwal tweeted, "I'll be taking part in the Tiranga Yatra, which will take place tomorrow. I appeal to all citizens of Jalandhar to attend the march."
Kejriwal will travel to Jalandhar and Lambi for a 'Tiranga Yatra' and public gatherings during his two-day tour. Every woman over the age of 18 will receive Rs 1,000 per month in monetary aid, said the AAP national convenor. If his party wins power in the State after the 2022 Assembly elections, he will provide quality education and a sum of Rs 1 crore to the families of state soldiers murdered in the line of duty.
The Aam Aadmi Party announced a list of 30 candidates for the upcoming elections on December 10th. They had previously revealed the names of ten candidates for the 2018 Punjab Assembly elections, all of whom are sitting members.
