Prayagraj: The Allahabad High Court has made important observations while hearing a habeas corpus petition. In fact, the court has said that Arya Samaj has been issuing marriage certificates without completing the marriage ceremony. Here Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamsheri observed, "This court is full of marriage certificates issued by various Arya Samaj societies, which have been seriously questioned by this court and other high courts."

In fact, the court made this remark during the hearing of a habeas corpus petition filed by a person named Bhola Singh. In this case, the petitioner has alleged that his wife has been illegally kept captive by her parents. To prove the same thing, he presented a certificate issued by Arya Samaj Mandir of Ghaziabad. However, the court, in its order passed on August 31, said, "Since the marriage has not been registered, it cannot be presumed that both the parties have entered into the marriage on the basis of the said certificate."

With this, the court, while dismissing the habeas corpus petition, said, "In the present case the woman is an adult and her father has lodged an FIR against the petitioner and the investigation is going on in this case, so there is no way of keeping the illegally detained." Let us tell you that in view of this decision, people have started going against it and are also getting to see the train of this decision on social sites.
