Lucknow: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs' son and main criminal Ashish Mishra on Sunday surrendered a day earlier after the Supreme Court cancelled the high court's bail in the Tikunia violence case. In a dramatic development, Ashish Mishra was quietly taken to the district jail in a Jeep of Sadar Kotwali. Whereas, the warrant was sent to Tikunia police station. 

 

On Sunday, Ashish Mishra was sent to the district jail from the court itself by a secret remand magistrate. The apex court had ordered Ashish Mishra to surrender by April 25. On April 26, a hearing will be started in the district court regarding the framing of charges against Ashish Mishra.

 

After the supreme court cancelled the bail order, prime criminal Ashish Mishra got a week, which was ending on Monday, April 25. The day before, the minister's son surrendered. Earlier, lawyers had said that on April 25, Ashish Mishra will appear before the civil court and surrender. Subsequently, on April 26, there is a hearing in the district court on the framing of charges against Ashish Mishra.
