Tupudana: The body of  ASI Bodh Narayan Mandal of the special branch that fell in the well at Dhobi Mohalla in Upper Hatia of Jagannathpur police station area was removed from the well after much effort. Water from municipal tankers was brought and filled in the well. After which the dead body came up which took about four hours. Jagannathpur in-charge of Abhay Kumar Singh and special branch police personnel were present at the scene.

Body sent to RIMS: It has been learned that body has been sent for post-mortem to RIMS after Panchnama of the police. A case has been registered at Jagannathpur police station in the written application of the deceased's wife Arku Devi. In the application, Arku Devi has written that her husband had no violence and quarrel with anyone. Based on the post-mortem report, police should take action on the cause of death and disclose the entire case. On the other hand, people of the special branch said that the manner in which Bodh Narayan Mandal has been put in the well gives rise to many kinds of apprehensions. He was a simple person. There was no fight or quarrel with anyone. The police should reveal a thorough investigation into his death.

Turned out after 24 hours: According to the information received, Jagannathpur Police was informed about the dead body in the well at 12 o'clock in the day. After being in the well for about 24 hours, the body was removed from the well at 1 pm on Saturday. There was a discussion among the local people that if the police can do this with the corpse of their officers, then what will happen to the common people. Even after getting information about the dead body, the police station in-charge kept meeting in the police station regarding Saraswati Puja.
