New Delhi: The difficulties of Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, surrounded by the CBI investigation regarding the alleged liquor scam in the country's capital Delhi, seem to be increasing in another case. Actually, the CJM Court of Kamrup has issued summons to Manish Sisodia in the defamation case filed by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. He has asked Manish Sisodia to appear in court on September 29.

Let us inform you that the CM of Assam filed a criminal defamation case against Sisodia in Kamrup (Rural) CJM Court on June 30. In fact, Sisodia had alleged that the Assam government had purchased PPE kits from the company of CM Sarma's wife at a price higher than the market rate. He claimed that the Assam government bought PPE kits from other companies at the rate of Rs 600, while CM Sarma gave Rs 990 for a kit to a company owned by his wife and son. Manish Sisodia made these allegations while doing a press conference on June 4.

Before Himanta Sarma, his wife Rinki Bhuiyan Sarma had also filed a defamation case against Sisodia. While filing a civil case of defamation in the Gauhati Kamrup Civil Judge's court, he demanded a fine of Rs 100 crore. Rinki Bhuinya and Himanta Biswa Sarma had dismissed Sisodia's allegations, terming them false and baseless. Simultaneously, CM Sarma challenged Sisodia to prove the charge.

Let us tell you that this summon has been issued against Sisodia at a time when he is already surrounded by scam allegations regarding liquor policy in Delhi. Sisodia, who holds the Department of Education and Excise, is facing a CBI probe in the liquor scam. Recently, the CBI also raided his house. However, Manish Sisodia has denied the allegations levelled against him and said that the BJP is making such allegations due to Kejriwal's growing popularity.

Manish Sisodia is not responding to the allegations:-

It is also worth noting that in both these cases, Sisodia had levelled allegations of corruption on CM Sarma, in response to which the CM of Assam challenged him to prove his charges by levelling a defamation case. At the same time, when Sisodia was accused of scamming under the new liquor policy, at first he made a U-turn and announced to implement of the old liquor policy back. When questions were raised about the scam, Sisodia started saying that the BJP is making this allegation because of Kejriwal's growing popularity. Now in such a situation, the question is, if the allegations of liquor scam are wrong, then why did the Kejriwal government immediately withdraw the new excise policy as soon as the CBI inquiry was ordered? At the same time, if the allegations are wrong, then Sisodia can also file a defamation case like CM Sarma, but instead of answering the allegations, I will not be afraid, I am a descendant of Maharana, I am a descendant of Bhagat Singh, give political statements like are. However, the CBI investigation is on, and it remains to be seen whether Sisodia is proved guilty or innocent in the investigation.
