Guwahati: Influenced by the initiative of former Australian bowler Shane Warne, the Excise Department of Assam has advised liquor companies to make sanitizers to combat the corona virus. By the way, Shane Warne, who influenced crores of fans with his spin, would never have thought that the Excise Department of Assam would be so impressed by his idea.

It is worth mentioning that Warne had recently said that his liquor company Corona will make a hand sanitizer to fight the epidemic and give it to two hospitals in Western Australia. When the state health department reported that there was a severe shortage of sanitizers and protective masks in the state, the excise department got the idea that the liquor manufacturers produce it because the sanitizer used in medicine contains 70 percent alcohol.

Giving information, Assam Excise Minister Parimal Sukhlabidya has said that, in this case, the Excise Department learned the commendable initiative taken by the liquor company owned by Australian cricket legend Shane Warne, who has stopped production of wine and started the production of sanitizer. Let us tell you that a total of 26 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Assam.
