New Delhi: The results of bypolls to several seats in various states of the country are now coming up. First of all, Andhra Pradesh. Polling was held in the Badvel assembly seat in the Kadapa district, which has been won by the ruling YSRCP by a huge margin. The BJP came second. In Assam, bye-elections were held in a total of 5 assembly seats. Out of which BJP has won 3 seats and its ally UPPL has won 2 seats. The Thora assembly seat in Jorhat has gone to the BJP account, which is considered a major success for the party.

In Bihar, polling was held in Tarapur in Munger district and Kusheshwar in Darbhanga. RJD is leading in Tarapur till the time of reporting, and the JD(U) seems to be winning in Kusheshwar place. However, the decision of votes between the two parties is not very high. In Karnataka, initial trends in the counting of votes have taken place and BJP and Congress seem to be gaining ground in one seat each.

However, the final result here can be any change and will take time. In Madhya Pradesh, BJP is leading in two seats, Bjp in one and Congress on one. The Congress seems to be winning the Degalore seat in Maharashtra and the BJP is trailing by a lot of votes. In Telangana, there is good news for the BJP. The BJP seems to be winning in a setback to the ruling TRS here.
