Lucknow: UttarPradesh's capital Lucknow suddenly went into darkness around 12 noon. Dark clouds began to appear in the sky with a strong thunderstorm. Suddenly, due to the darkness and strong thunderstorm, there was a jam at many places. A little later it started to rain heavily. Along with Lucknow, all the adjoining districts are receiving rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
It may be recalled that the Met department had issued a rain warning with thunderstorm squall in the entire Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow. It was sunny in Lucknow this morning, but the weather suddenly changed around 11.30 pm and it was dark till 12 noon. After this, it is raining heavily with a strong thunderstorm. Only in lucknow, the weather has changed in the surrounding districts also.
In Hardoi district today, amidst intense heat wave conditions, the weather suddenly changed and rain started with a thunderstorm. The storm was so strong that hoardings at many places were uprooted and fell on the road, while in some places, walls were also reported to have fallen. After the scorching heat, people have also got relief from the strong storm and water pouring today.
