Thane: Maharashtra is now overcoming corona infection. It is a let-up state where corona infection was the highest but now the infection is showing a decline. Now, in the meantime, there is a big news from here. In fact, there has been a major accident in Ulhasnagar in Thane district of the state. Seven people were killed when the upper floor of a 6-storey building collapsed here late last Friday night. Information in this regard is said to have been received through the authorities.

In fact, the accident took place at the 26-year-old Sai Shakti Building with 29 flats in Nehru Chowk area of the city. Here at around 9 p.m., locals saw the scene. Now people saying that suddenly there were some thundersounds, tremors and then the massive crash occurred. On receiving information, Ulhasnagar Fire Brigade, Thane Fire Brigade and Thane Disaster Rescue Force along with police and other agencies rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the victims from the debris this morning.

Some more people are said to be trapped under the debris and relief and rescue operations are still going on at the spot. Now, the debris is still being removed from the spot so that anyone buried under it can be rescued. The effort are underway.
