On Tuesday, Ather Energy made its entry into the extremely popular world of franchise-based cricket in India, announcing a partnership with Gujarat Titans for the next Indian Premier League, or IPL 2022.

Founded in 2013, Ather Energy has established itself as one of the top competitors in India's electric two-wheeler market, which has seen a slew of new competitors.

The Gujarat Titans, one of two new teams for this year's edition along with the Lucknow Super Giants, have helped create a solid foundation for a long innings, and the cooperation with the Bengaluru-based EV business is anticipated to further reinforce the image of the Bengaluru-based EV firm. "We are ecstatic to be partnering with the Gujarat Titans, who will make their IPL debut this season," saying that the company "Ather Energy's Chief Business Officer, Ravneet Singh Phokela, said. "As relative newcomers in our various areas, common values of fearlessness and positivism, as well as a desire to make a difference in our extremely competitive environments, link us.""

The Gujarat Titans are also searching for an interesting relationship with a new electric vehicle manufacturer. "We are ecstatic to partner with Ather Energy, a young and thriving firm that has been leading the way in India's EV sector," says the company "Gujarat Titans Chief Operating Officer Arvinder Singh remarked. "As we begin on a journey with a youthful attitude and drive in mind to create our imprint in the league, the mix of youthfulness and strategic thinking that Ather Energy projects resonates with us as a team.""

While the partnership is likely to help Ather Energy further establish itself as a vibrant EV brand, the company is also focusing on enhancing its production capacity over the next three years, while betting big on charging infrastructure. The electric two wheeler field of play in India is hotting up with passing time and Ather could well be positioned well to make the most of the demand.
