Husqvarna, a Swedish two-wheeler company, is developing a new electric scooter named Vektorr. The e-scooter, which was recently shown in concept form, has been sighted testing on Indian roads as well as in Europe, indicating that it might be on its way to production.

Husqvarna Vektorr is being developed in collaboration with Bajaj Auto, an Indian two-wheeler company. Husqvarna's electric scooter will be manufactured at Bajaj's factory. The Bajaj Chetak, a Vespa-style electric scooter, is already on the market. The Vektorr and the Chetak are anticipated to share a number of comparable features and technicalities.

The Vektorr Concept is Husqvarna Motorcycles' first electric scooter, according to the Swedish two-wheeler company. The electric scooter is designed for urban commuters who demand personal transportation that is efficient, small, and attractive. The Husqvarna Vektorr electric scooter idea is based on a similar design scheme that keeps much of the company's hallmark appearance while also bringing it into the 21st century. It'll include a fully digital instrument panel and full-LED lighting, among many other things.

The Husqvarna Vektorr electric scooter is expected to hit a peak speed of 45 kilometres per hour (28 mph). This will assist the Swedish manufacturer in keeping it legal as a moped-class vehicle, meaning most riders will not require a driver's licence to use it. Due to its modest speed output, the electric scooter is expected to have a range of up to 95 km on a single charge.

There's no news on how powerful the Vektorr electric scooter will be, but it'll most likely have a 2-3kW motor. This is the normal power level found in other electric scooters of comparable performance.
