Lucknow: In a case against former MLA Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, brother of former Samajwadi Party (SP) Bahubali MP Atique Ahmed, an attempt was made to throw the sub-inspector who came from Gorakhpur to the MPMLA court to testify in a case from the roof. The incident is being told of 16 November. A complaint was made to the police the next day of the incident. Colonelganj police are investigating the matter by registering a case.

According to the report, Inspector Nityanand posted in Gorakhpur was posted at Dhumanganj police station a few years ago. Nithyananda had investigated the extortion case registered against former MLA Ashraf. At that time there was a reward of one lakh rupees on Ashraf. In fact, on the orders of the court, the Dhumanganj police got Ashraf's house demolished. Even after this, when Ashraf did not appear, a case was registered against him for disobeying the court order. In this case, the MP MLA was produced in the court on 16th November.

Inspector Nityanand also reached the court along with the presenter of Dhoomanganj police station. After the statement, he was coming down the stairs. Meanwhile, former soldier Lalji Tiwari alias Pintu reached from behind with his companions. Tried to push Nityanand down from the second floor. But, with the help of advocate Ranvijay and other people present there, the inspector's life was saved.
