Mumbai: In Maharashtra, the issue of renaming Aurangabad city to Sambhajinagar is currently on hold. This issue is being seen in the Shiv Sena and the Congress to see a tremendous bump. Both sides are making day-to-day rhetoric. Last Sunday, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut wrote in the Saamana of the issue. In the Saamana, he reminded Shiv Sena-BJP why both Aurangabad had not been converted during the five years as well as the government in the centre and the state. In addition, Sanjay Raut also targeted the Congress in his weekly column of Shiv Sena's party mouthpiece.

He first questioned, 'Who was Aurangzeb?'. He further wrote: "At least, Maharashtra does not need to explain it. The true Marathi and staunch Hindu person has no reason to be infatuation with Aurangzeb. The secular  party like the Congress is not ready to change name to Sambhajinagar of Aurangabad. The mutation of Aurangabad will offend the Muslim society, that is, the minority, and the vote bank will be affected, meaning the secular image of itself will be questioned. '

Sanjay Raut, while advising the Congress, wrote, "All the leaders of Maharashtra should re-read the bloodstained history of Aurangzeb. At least, the school curriculum books of your childhood history should be monitored. Aurangzeb was never ' secular '. He had to expand the Islam-based empire. In aurangzeb's life, hypocrisy, fanaticism, inhumanity were coded. He considered Shivaji Raje as an enemy and killed Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje. In the name of Aurangzeb, there should not be a single city in Maharashtra. It cannot be called Shivbhakti, not fanaticism. Talking about the demand for naming Aurangabad as Sambhjinagar, Shiv Sena founder Bala Saheb Thackeray started making this demand, while the demand is being made so far.
