When the first match witnessed high scores on Sidney Cricket Ground, New Zealand felt betrayed by their own performance. However, the conditions in Canberra always going to suggest that the Canberra cricket association do work hard on the ground work thereby it has a lot of assistance for the batting unit. In this way, though the Kiwis captain still thought they would decide to ball first when they won the toss but they had no idea about the explosive power of Australian batting camp.

The plot was set for perfect hitting conditions and they proved them same. The platform was laid down by explosive opener David Warner in the Canberra on Tuesday when he scored a spectacular century. Yet this was not over yet, there were still shows to come on as Australians target Math Hendy in the 2nd match of the Chappel-Hadlee series 2016 going on in Australian home soil at the moment. There was not only display of classic performance, but Australian lower order bruit force also exposed any possibilities to score low in such wonderfully presented batting circumstances.

At the end, Australia manages to score 378 for 5 wicket loss which is a high score, but we can’t assure themselves that the score can't be chased down. The kiwis are yet to bat, but the way Travis Head, Mathew Wade and Mitchell March played for their country today have clearly stated the fact that how brute force they have installed as far the middle order is concerned. The most spectacular death over hitting was done by march who scored 8 sixes while he remained unbeaten on 76 of 40 balls at the end of the Australian innings.

We would have to look out now how New Zealand display as we have witnessed in first match that martin Guptill did put a fighting showdown, thereby it would be interesting to watch out how Australians ball to Kiwis while they try to chase down the second highest score made in history in Canberra till then we shall congratulate and enjoy the fact that Australians have indeed come back to the taste of victory as they are already 1-0 up in the 3 match series...
