Lucknow: The Ayodhya administration has identified 5 lands given to the Muslim side for the mosque. These 5 lands are outside the Panchkosi Parikrama of Ayodhya. Panchkosi Parikrama is a circumference of 15 km which is considered as the holy area of Ayodhya. All the five lands identified by the administration are out of this Panchkosi parikrama. Among the lands identified by the Ayodhya administration for the mosque, are the land at Malikpura Mirzapur, Shamshuddinpur and Chandpur villages.

All these lands are on the main road originating from Ayodhya and connecting various cities. Once the trust is formed, the government will hand over this land to the Muslim side. On November 9, the Supreme Court in a historic judgment had ruled the Ayodhya case which has been going on for decades. A five-judge bench headed by former Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi ordered the disputed land to be given to Ramlala Virajman. Whereas, the court had ordered the Sunni Waqf Board to give 5 acres of land inside Ayodhya City to build a mosque.

Ayodhya administration was continuously looking for land, following the decision of the Supreme Court. After long efforts, the Ayodhya administration has identified land for mosques in Malikpura Mirzapur, Shamshuddinpur and Chandpur villages. However, the final decision has not yet been taken on which land will be given to the Muslim party.
