Ayodhya: G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Tourism, said on Wednesday that Ayodhya will be the world's largest spiritual tourism destination by 2030, and that the Ram Mandir will be built soon, increasing tourism opportunities in the state. Reddy was in Ayodhya's Ram Katha Park to launch three books about Lord Ram's life.

"Ram Mandir will be built soon, and Ayodhya will become one of the world's most popular tourist destinations by 2030, as people from all over the world will flock to the city to see and pray at Ram Mandir."  After the temple is completed, there will be more opportunities for tourism in this area. Ayodhya is a city steeped in history and resolve. It is a spiritually significant city. It will soon be a tourist city, Reddy said.

An international airport is being built in Ayodhya, and the city will also have train and road connectivity, he said. Both the state and the federal government are working to improve the city's infrastructure and development. The government estimates that the number of tourists visiting the country will reach 5 crores in the next ten years. The development of Ayodhya will be a source of pride for India, according to the Minister.

The lighting of 12 lakh oil lamps on the occasion of Deepotsav today is not only a world record, but it also sends a message to the world about Lord Rama's modesty. The government lit oil lamps at the Deepotsav and re-lit the city, just as it did when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after his exile. The entire world is illuminated by these oil lamps "he said.
