Lulu Mall in Lucknow has been in the news ever since it opened. It was CM Yogi Adityanath who launched it on July 10. Just three days after the inauguration, on July 13, a video of Lulu Mall went viral on the internet. In the video, some people were seen praying in the mall. Hindu organisations were angry at this. However, the administration had also arrested four people in this case. Following the protest, the Lulu Mall administration had put up a notice that puja or prayers were not allowed in the mall. The administration had also said that 80 per cent of the employees working in the mall were Hindus.
