New Delhi: Union Information Commissioner Uday Mahurkar has said that India is moving ahead in every field under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. He said that PM Modi is taking the country towards progress. He said this during a discussion on a book titled 'Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery' organised by Delhi University.
It may be mentioned that on the occasion of DU's centenary year celebrations, this event was organized at Deendayal Upadhyaya College. It was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the University Yogesh Singh. During this, Uday Mahurkar said, "Modi is taking India forward. There is no area in which the country is not moving forward. PM Modi is not only India's but also the world's best administrator and planner.'' Mahurkar further said that PM Modi's model includes five factors. The first is "transparency, the second implementation, the third is the use of technology in governance, the fourth is a model based on innovation and the fifth is based on the pride of the individual."
He further said that while he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, we can see the example of the Jyotigram scheme of the state government. All urban centres and villages were electrified 24 hours a day. This scheme really sets the agenda for good governance. He further said "All the success of our Prime Minister can be attributed to his amazing planning capabilities. It is compared to the scheme brought by historical figures like Chanakya and Shivaji.''
