Kanpur: Police have arrested Mukhtar Baba, the owner of popular restaurant Baba Biryani, in connection with the violence that took place on The Day of Jumei in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur city. The police claimed that Mukhtar Baba had given funds to Gaya Zafar Hayat Hashmi, the main culprit of the violence. Mukhtar Baba has many criminal cases registered against him. Soon, the SIT may arrest more perpetrators of the violence.

Let us know that in the interrogation of the investigating agencies, the mastermind of the violence Zafar Hayat Hashmi had emerged many big names. One of them, Baba Biryani, was named as a crowdfunding. Baba Biryani had helped in arranging food and funding for those called for stone pelting. Not only this, the name of Baba Biryani has also come up in the case of opening a biryani shop by occupying enemy property and a part of the ancient temple.
