Baba Harbhajan Singh was one such soldier. Baba Harbhajan Singh is completely different from the rest of the soldiers. Often you have seen that a tomb of martyred soldiers is prepared. But you will be surprised to know that there is a temple of Baba Harbhajan Singh and people come from different places to worship him.

Baba Harbhajan Singh, who is worshiped like a god, was born on 4th October. He died at the young age of 27. Although it is said that even after his death, he still performs his duty. On October 4, 1968, while carrying a convoy of mules, he got slipped Nathula and died after falling into the valley. His body was not found due to the adverse flow of water.

It is said that after this Baba Harbhajan Singh came in the dream of his fellow soldier and told him about his body and after three days of research, his body was found in the same place by the Indian Army. It is also said that he also expressed a desire to build his own Samadhi. After this, a temple of his was built in Sikkim where today people come to see him. We salute such a brave soldier of the Indian Army on his birth anniversary.
