Jaipur: There is outrage in the country over the Hathras Rape Case. But even in Rajasthan, daughters are not safe. In Jaipur, the miscreants raped a minor in Amber, then a Dalit woman was raped in Ajmer. In Rajasthan, so far this year, an average of 14 girls and 24 women have been raped. On the incident of increasing gang rape cases in the state, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat took a dig at former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi, "When will these daughters of Rajasthan be remembered?"

Jaipur's Amer police station arrested three people who raped a minor girl on Wednesday. When the girl was leaving her house, then on the way, all three forcefully took her on a bike and took her to a room where one raped and two kept monitoring outside. The police have arrested all three by registering a case under the POSCO Act.

Not only Amer, in the Vishwakarma police station area of Jaipur, when a woman asked for a thousand rupees from an acquaintance, he took her to a hotel in the car on the pretext of giving money. Then forcibly made her drunk liquor and gang-raped with two of his friends. Police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ajmer, a Dalit woman came to her maternal home from her in-laws, then an acquaintance stopped her on the way and took her to a secluded place and raped her. A day ago, in Sikar, a young woman was gang-raped by feeding his father sleeping pills. Reminding them of these matters, Shekhawat asked Rahul Gandhi when he would take care of the daughters of Rajasthan.
