Mumbai: Former Union minister and Shiv Sena leader Anant Geete have recently made a shocking statement. In fact, he said, "Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, who stabbed the Congress in the back, cannot be a "guru" for Shiv Sainiks.'' He also said, "The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, which is aligned with Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress, is just an "agreement". Let us tell all of you that Sharad Pawar is considered to be the architect and the pivot of the MVA government, which came to power after the 2019 assembly elections, after the souring of relations between the Shiv Sena and the BJP.

You must be aware that Shiv Sena and BJP shared power from 2014 to 2019. Addressing a public meeting in his home constituency Raigad last Monday, Geete said, "Sharad Pawar can never be our leader because this Government (MVA) is only an agreement. People should praise Pawar as much as they can, but our 'guru' is only (late) Balasaheb Thackeray.'' He also said, "As long as this government is working, it will continue. If we part ways, our house is Shiv Sena and we will always be with our party. ''

On the other hand, former Raigad MP Geete also said, "He has no "bad intention" towards the Shiv Sena-led government and wants the government to run.'' Moreover, he said, "Pawar had stabbed the Congress in the back and formed his own party. If the Congress and the NCP cannot be one, even the Shiv Sena cannot entirely follow the Congress policy. The relationship between Congress and the NCP was not always cordial.''
