It said that now shopkeepers will not be able to give any kind of concession rebate or discount on MRP of liquor.

In the order issued by the Excise Commissioner of Delhi, it has been stated that the government had given permission to give the exemption so that the customer can get the choice. Through healthy competition in the market, alcohol can be made available for the right price. According to the government order, shopkeepers in Delhi will no longer give concession rebates or discounts on MRP of liquor.

The Excise Commissioner of Delhi said that liquor shopkeepers also promoted it on social media. Along with this, even if there is no permission, its banners and hoardings should be installed. Liquor shopkeepers in Delhi were selling liquor at a discount. Due to this, there were long queues at the liquor shops, so there was also the problem of law and order. Along with this, the protocol of Corona was also being violated. The BJP and the ruling Aam Aadmi Party are face to face with the new excise policy in Delhi. Now the BJP has decided to hold a plebiscite in Delhi regarding the excise policy to attack Kejriwal.
