BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover has resigned from the company and its board. The resignation of Ashneer Grover stopped the high drama that has been going on for almost two months, which started after an audio clip came out. It is being told that he had allegedly misbehaved with an employee of Kotak Mahindra Bank. In an email sent to the board of fintech, Grover, managing director of BharatPe, said, "Since the beginning of the year, they have been 'condemned' and treated in a derogatory manner.''

Ashneer wrote in the letter, "I am writing it with a heavy heart because today I am being forced to say goodbye to a company of which I am the founder. I say with my head high that today this company stands as a leader in the world of fintech. Since the beginning of 2022, there have been baseless allegations by some people against me and my family. This has not only hurt my reputation but also tarnished the reputation of the company. Grover also said, "Being recognised as the face of Indian entrepreneurship, he is now wasting his time fighting a long, lonely battle against his investors and management. "Unfortunately in this fight, the management has lost what is really at stake - Bharatpe.''

If a report in the Economic Times is to be believed, Grover's resignation comes after the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) rejected Grover's emergency petition last week against the ongoing 'Governance Review' within the company, which did not give him any relief in the matter.
