Dehradun: The world famous Lord Badri Vishal's kapat is going to open for summer on May 15, amidst the lockdown, the district administration has completed its preparations. The administration has made electricity, water and food arrangements in Badrinath Dham in view of the opening of fraud. However, this will be the first time that devotees will not be able to see God after the opening of the temple doors.

Actually, lockdown is applicable in the entire country in view of the infection of corona virus. Due to which all the temples have been closed. However, aarti is being done both times in the morning and evening by the priests in the temples. After the opening of the doors of Lord Badri Vishal, the priest will perform aarti there, but before May 17, devotees will not be allowed to come.

Chamoli DM Swati S Bhadoria has told that electricity, water and food items have been arranged by the administration. Devotees are forbidden to visit at the time of opening of the kapat on 15 May. The media also will not be able to go to Badrinath Dham. He told that only a team of 27 people will be present in the dham at the time of opening the doors. This time only the Devasthanam Board will take more decisions in Badrinath Dham.
