Raipur:  On Saturday, December 17, Chhattisgarh will commemorate "State Gaurav Diwas" to mark the completion of the government's four-year tenure under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in  Raipur.

The General Administration Department (GAD) has provided all collectors with specific instructions for the celebration of the Gaurav Diwas, according to a press statement published by the CMO.

All Gauthan farmers, presidents, members of Gauthan Committees, and villages are required to appear at Tendu Patta Collection Centers and Forest Produce Management Committee offices on December 17 at 11:00 a.m., according to instructions given to the collectors. They should provide information to the visitors about the schemes of the state government and the achievements of the state government in the last four years.

Further instructions were given to the collectors to invite farmers to the paddy procurement centres at the Primary Cooperative Society's facilities at 3 p.m. on the same day.  Upon arriving there, the collectors will give them information about major agricultural schemes of the government such as interest-free loan scheme, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, etc.

According to the press release, the Collectors were also told to invite all district ministers, MPs, and MLAs as well as local public figures to the state Gaurav Diwas event.

The state government is consistently taking action for the welfare of the farmers and educating them on cutting-edge farming practises. The Chief Minister's farmer-friendly policies and programmes have had a positive impact on the rural areas and the agricultural industry.

The Chief Minister took several actions to support the rural economy as soon as the government was formed, including waiving long-overdue irrigation levies and farmer loans. Farmers, workers, and the destitute have received more than Rs 1,000,000 crore in the last four years.
