Lucknow: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has also become active in uttar pradesh over next year's assembly elections. The party has changed the districts of 6 districts including Lucknow. It is being reported that 6 new people have been included in the sector team of Lucknow Division. In January, Mayawati had announced that bsp will not form any alliance with any political party for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The party will contest in Tamam assembly constituencies on its own.

Samajwadi party (SP) and BSP had formed an alliance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Mayawati and Akhilesh were trying to stop the Modi wave by coming to a forum during this election. Mayawati benefited the most from this alliance. Bsp, which did not win a single seat in the 2014 elections, captured 10 seats in 2019. On the other hand, the SP was reduced to 5 seats in 2019 as in 2014.

Meanwhile, the BJP has also gained momentum over the UP elections. National General Secretary BL Santosh met party leaders on Tuesday amid speculation of a change in the organisation and government in the BJP. The meeting is seen as significant in many ways in view of the upcoming assembly elections. But, above all, for the first time, the party's national organisation is talking for half an hour, making every minister of the state sit separately.
