Except new Pulsar 250 bikes, Bajaj Auto's Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 motorcycles have also increased in price in India. While the Dominar 250 has increased in price by over $5,000, the Dominar 400 has increased in price by $4,500. The Dominar 250 now costs 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom) with the new price hike, while the bigger Dominar 400 costs 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom).
With the recent increase in price, the Dominar 400 is now even more costly than the previously released officially accessorised Dominar 400, which retailed for $26,648. (ex-showroom, Delhi). This version, of course, will now be even more expensive. It comes with a tall visor, handguard, engine bash plate, leg guard, carrier, and rear stopper, among other factory-installed touring accessories.
The liquid-cooled 373.3cc DOHC FI engine on the Dominar 400 is capable of producing 40 PS of maximum power and 35 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed gearbox is paired with the engine. The model's suspension package comprises a 43 mm USD fork that has been optimised for comfort and handling. Aurora Green and Charcoal Black are the two colour options offered for the sports tourer.
(In the meantime, Bajaj Auto is planning to increase its electric vehicle output.) The business has already announced a $300 million investment in a new electric car facility near Pune. It's also where Bajaj's first Chetak scooter factory is located. The new plant will be able to manufacture 500,000 electric vehicles every year.
