The freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak is known for his contribution to Indian history. Bal Gangadhar Tilak is also called the creator of today's India. He has also been a major contributor to the independence of India and he is also called a great social reformer, although in spite of all this, there came a time when he was called the 'father of terrorism'.

In fact, the case is that in May 2018, a book in Rajasthan called Bal Gangadhar Tilak as 'Father of Terrorism'. Later it was fiercely opposed. Where at that time Mukta Tilak, the wife of Shailesh, the mayor of Pune and the great grandson of Bal Gangadhar Tilak, had strongly objected to this and termed it as a shameful act.

He said that he had shaken the foundation of the British rule and had given 50 years of his life to the country, yet such an act against him is shameful.  Bal Gangadhar Tilak was an important person in Indian history. Born in 1856, Bal Gangadhar joined the Congress in the year 1890 and started working for the country. In 1997, the British government accused him of making inflammatory speeches and for this he had to go to jail. He remained in jail for one and a half years. At the same time, he was arrested in the rebellion of 1906 and after two years he had to go to jail again. During this, he spent 6 years in jail. While in jail, he wrote his famous book 'Geeta Rahasya'.
