Police has taken strict action to prevent accidents during rafting in river Ganga. Due to rafting, the use of Go Pro cameras has also been banned.

Tourists were seen beating each other in the river. Police officers have given strict instructions to the rafting companies and guides to follow the rules. Guides are also banned from using Go Pro cameras while rafting. The police team in Shivpuri area under the leadership of in-charge Inspector Ritesh Shah made rafting guides and tourists aware. Informing them about the rules, they also warned of legal action if found negligent.

He also warned of legal action if tourists are given rafting after sunset. The in-charge inspector told that due to rafting, he was asked not to consume drugs. Instructions have also been given to keep the behavior soft with the tourists. On receipt of the complaint, legal action has also been warned against the concerned company and the guide. Due to Ganga river rafting, the police are seen strict to follow the rules. Strict instructions are being issued to the operators and guides to follow the prescribed rules, along with regular checking, the police is also taking action against the violators.
