UP Assembly Secretariat bans wearing jeans-T-shirts, government orders issued

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, members and staff have been banned from wearing jeans and t-shirts in the Assembly Secretariat. According to an order issued by Joint Secretary Narendra Kumar Mishra, employees and officials have been advised not to come to the secretariat wearing jeans and T-shirts. They have also been asked to come dressed according to the dignity of the Secretariat.

In fact, hundreds of employees work in the Assembly Secretariat in Lucknow. Joint Secretary, Assembly Secretariat Narendra Kumar Mishra has also issued an order in this regard. The order imposes restrictions on all employees and officers inside the secretariat wearing jeans and T-shirts. According to the order, the workers and officers will have to wear plain clothes. According to Narendra Kumar, joint secretary of the assembly secretariat, the order has already been conveyed to several people.

He has been constantly cautioned about it. Assembly is the honored place. In such a situation, all employees and officers should wear clothes following the same dignity. This order has been passed in the same perspective. Earlier, the Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra had fixed a dress code for employees posted in government offices in the state. The Maharashtra government had banned government officials and employees from wearing T-shirts, jeans and slippers in the office. Employees were advised not to wear dark, embroidery and photo clothes either.
