Dhaka: On Tuesday, 209 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in India's neighbouring country of Bangladesh and seven people have died. Giving information, Prof. Dr Nasima Sultana, Officer of Health Department said that the number of infected people has increased to 1012 across the country. In the DGHS's Daily Bulletin on Corona Virus, he also said that there is no cure for this virus infection today.

He urged all people to stay in their homes and follow the advice of the health department. The first case of corona infection in Bangladesh was reported on 8 March. Since then, there has been a steady increase in infections and deaths in the country. For the first time, a case of coronavirus infection was reported in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year and it infected 210 countries and regions.

According to the WorldMeter, as of Monday, 19,30,014 people worldwide have been infected with this dangerous virus and a total of 1,19,789 people have died. The Coronavirus epidemic has also cured 4,53,018 people worldwide.
