The winter season is going on and eating parathas in this season has its own different pleasure. A variety of parathas can be made in cold weather, such as cabbage, potato, fenugreek and bathua. Yes, it is very easy to make a healthy bathua paratha and today we tell you how to make it.
Ingredients- 2 large bowls of flour, 3 cups fresh bathua leaves cleaned, 1 large potato, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp fennel, 1 pinch asafoetida powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp celery, 2 finely chopped green chillies, salt to taste, lukewarm water and oil.
Bathua Paratha Recipe - First wash and finely chop the cleaned leaves of bathua and boil the potatoes. Now heat water on a low flame in a pot and cover it with a plate above, now place the bathua leaves on that plate and cook till soft. Turn off the heat when the leaves are cooked. Now peel off the boiled potatoes and mash them and add bathua leaves to it. Now strain the dough into a paratha. Then add potatoes and bathua leaves. Now add chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder, celery, asafoetida and salt to your taste and mix all the ingredients well and knead the tight dough with lukewarm water. Now cover the dough for a while. Now make loaves from flour and roll them round or round parathas. Then heat a nonstick pan or simple pan and add paratha and apply oil on both sides and bake well till crisp. When the golden brown paratha appears, remove from the heat. Take the healthy and delicious paratha of bathua.
