Battle of Plassey was the victory of British East India Company over Nawab of Bengal on 23-june-1757. War took place at Palashi, Bengal. Belligerants of the wars were Great Britain with Commander Robert Clive and Mughal Empire alliance to France with leader Nawab Siraj ud- Daulah.

British troops were with the strength of 3,110 which included topazes, sepoys, gunners, soldiers, cannon and howitzers’. Mughal troop consist of 62,124 including infantry, cavalry, field pieces and artillery men.

This battle caused much loss to the Indian Economy. British lost their 22 soldiers and Mughal lost 500 soldiers in the battle.
