New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed Lok Sabha and throws light on the different issues, achievements of government and also attacked the opposition. While replying to the debate on the motion of thanks to the President’s address in the Lok Sabha, the PM said the NDA government is known for its achievements.

PM wished that the Opposition parties well for the healthy competition said  "I wish for the healthy competition in the upcoming elections. I would also like to encourage all those youth who will be voting for the first time.

He further welcomed first-time voters in India. Hitting out at the Congress, the PM said the opposition party is maligning India's name globally.  He also congratulated voters and said I congratulate all those who will be voting for the first time in the 2019 Parliamentary polls.

Lashing out the opposition PM said  "We speak the truth, be it in the country or outside, in Parliament or outside but your ability to listen to the truth has diminished. He further added, "Our friends in the Congress see things in two time periods. BC, which is 'Before Congress', when nothing happened and the other is AD - 'After Dynasty', where everything happened."

PM further asked,  In 1959, Congress Central government dismissed the Communist government in Kerala. 60 years on, hope my friends from Kerala remember that. So, what sanctity? What respect of institutions?"
