After this, both the one-day matches in Lucknow and Kolkata are now under the threat of coronavirus. According to a BCCI source, "Due to the threat of Covid-19, the remaining two matches of the ODI series between India and South Africa will be played in the empty stadium without an audience."

Earlier, the Sports Ministry issued a consultation saying that if a sports competition cannot be postponed, then it should be organized without a large number of spectators.
