Siddharth's last release of 2006 was Bommarillu directed by newcomer Bhaskar. The film, based on father-son relationship, won critical acclaim and box office success. He worked with director Vishal Bhardwaj and Oscar-winning cinematographer Guillermo Navarro on a short film titled Blood Brothers, which was presented at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival as part of Mira Nair's AIDS Wake project.
