500 grams of dosa batter
1 beetroot
1 tsp salt (or to taste)

Method of making beetroot dosa- First of all take 500 grams of dosa batter. Then add chopped beetroot and 1/4 cup of water to a blender. Grind and make a paste. Now put this beetroot paste and salt in the dosa solution and mix well until it is completely mixed or until you get the pink coloured beetroot dosa batter. After this, heat a dosa tawa on a high flame. Now when the dosa tawa is hot enough, add a solution to the middle of the hot frying pan.
Now rotate your hand in a circular motion (in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction) and immediately start spreading the beetroot dosa solution from the middle and make it round until you reach the edges i.e. spread it like regular dosa. Keep in mind that try to spread it as thin as possible. Now with this batter, you can make thin or thickened dosas according to your choice. Keep in mind that sprinkle a little oil on the edges and also in the middle and let the dosa cook for a few minutes until the bottom of the dosa looks golden brown. Now flip it over and cook for a few seconds and flip over again. Next, scrape the edges of the dosa to remove it from the griddle and fold it according to the picture. Take your pink dosa.
