Chandigarh: AAP has suffered a setback ahead of assembly elections in Punjab. The young AAP MP, Rupinder Kaur Ruby, announced that she would resign from the list of primary party members. Speaking to Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, she said: I am resigning from the constituency of Bathinda Gramin, a senior member of the AAP party, effective immediately. Please accept my resignation.  According to reports, the party is not making Bhagwant Mann the chief minister's candidate, against which he has announced his resignation. It was only on Tuesday that Rupinder had come out in support of Bhagwant Mann and said it could have caused losses in the upcoming elections if the party had not announced the CM's face. It will also be difficult to form a common man's government in the state. He had also said that he was with Bhagwant Mann.
